Metromedia Fiber Network (MFNX) is currenty at $0.58, down from a high in Apr 2000 of $53 or so. (The 18-month chart is a "chart of death".)

MFNX was brought out in 1997 by Salomon Smith Barney. Just a few days ago, the day after it fell below $1, SSB hotshot analyst Jack Grubman revised his recommendation from "buy" to "neutral". There must be some sort of unwritten law (or maybe it really is written into their contracts) that says that if you're an analyst for Comany X, and Company X underwrites stock Y, you're not allowed to suggest that anybody sell it.
