There are several Google hits I saw on Primarica being a pyramid scheme, which it is, at least from my experience with them about 10 years ago, to the same extent Tupperware, Amway and other personal product retailers might use to extend their products through sales networking. The problem with Primarica is that those pitching the products usually don't know very much about what may be complex personal financial issues, the financial products they promote may not be appropriate or even suitable, and they are ALL very expensive compared to alternatives.
