There has also been a Management shakeup which is disturbing. I haven't been able to follow up on the reasons behind the two resignations. Is poor SSS the cause? Was Poor SSS caused by Management not reacting fast enough to new style trends? Does the company need new blood? Hmmmmmm....

Back to my reasons for buying this stock (allthough it looks like a lot of the big Apparel companies are getting the wind pulled from there sails).

BKE has Quality values that I like.
1)Sales people are educated to help the shopper coordinate their outfits. None of the other Apparel stores that I know of do this. The salespeople are also trained and motivated to give the shopper personal attention. I think the sales people get a 3% commision? I'm not sure.

2) Nice store layout. The company uses its space well.

3) Quality brands. Lucky Dungarees, Dr. Martins, Tommy Jeans, ect....

4) Srategic Mall presence. I like the way the company thinks about where to put its Stores. While Pacific Sun was up in a second floor corner of my mall, The Buckle was on the first floor right in the main traffic area.

5) Promo card that gives 10.00 off a purchace after the shopper has spent $300 at the store. Promotes customer loyality.

Have I missed anything?
