There is nothing wrong with having toys or other luxuries if you can afford them. You can't afford your toys. A car takes up space. It has to be insured and registered and stored. It doesn't produce income. You can't afford unnecessary expenses and ongoing drains. I think it is time for your husband to grow up and learn to put his family's future first. Life is about choices. If you have one thing then you can't have the other. If you are living above your means, you'll never get ahead until you start cutting your expenses. Everything has to be on the table. I agree. Sell the car. Also, sell your engagement ring, another non necessity. This should go a long ways towards paying down your credit card debt.Keep up the good work!
