...left when you finish the turkey. I threw the carcass in the freezer after Thanksgiving. After we'd eaten and eaten. After we'd fed the dogs and cats turkey. After my mom and brother took turkey home. After I'd made some turkey salad... and some more turkey salad. Over the weekend I boiled his bones and strained and picked off meat. Fed some more to the dogs. And will be eating turkey and dumplings at least three times this week, likely more. Good thing I like turkey. And turkey is VERY LBYM. I wasn't here around Thanksgiving, but I know there were a lot of news stories about how Thanksgiving was going to cost more this year, the price of turkey was up, etc. Seems to me turkey, at $1.19 (which I paid for my Butterball) is highly cheap. I lost count of how many meals I got out that that thing, but it was a lot.
