they found that skiers wearing helmets had worse concussions than those who didn't.

I'm not a pro-choice or pro-lifer, but last week I was passed by a wanna-be cowboy in a Ford duelly and got a rock in the face. If I hadn't been wearing my full-face Arai, I would have needed stiches. There are more than a few occasions that I've gotten bug splashes in the faceshield that would have stung mightily without the protection. And I'm still riding down to freezing, so my Arai keeps my nose and ears from breaking off in a 30 mph norther.

Wear a helmet, or not. I could care less. But I've had enough run-ins with flying road hazards to convince me it is in my best interest to stay covered up.
