They have to pay me next time.

I love that. Next time anyone calls and asks me to participate in a survey I will tell them I charge $25, payable in advance.

I wondered that because we had a project at the library once where every manager and supervisor had to be evaluated by the staff that reported to him or her in preparation for a "retreat" (omg I'm glad I'm done with all those kinds of things) and we each selected 5 of our staff members to do the evaluations, which were then designed to be anonymous amongst the 5. They told us in order to get the best picture of ourselves from which to improve to try to select people who give us a wide range of opinions, including staff members with whom we had conflicts. Oh sure. Like I'm about to do that.

you know, if it wasn't for other people, I wouldn't have any conflicts. :) what's up with that?
