They say the market is smarter than any one person.

They say is a cause for grave suspicion. I do not trust They say at all. Just who are They? IMAO, they are a bunch of lazy duffers that cannot be bothered to ever justify what they say. It seems to me that the market is composed of a vast number of different players. Some of them may be quite brilliant in their way, but none infallible. The rest are just a mob of sheep, with a considerable portion of corrupt rabble-rousers who manipulate the rest of the mob. To ascribe wisdom to such a population seems to me to be the height of folly.
