OK - if you absolutely MUST be in the left lane on a four-lane divided highway PLEASE DO NOT match the speed of the vehicle in the right lane to within 0.0001 feet per second. SPEED UP or SLOW DOWN and PULL TO THE RIGHT and CLEAR THE WAY FOR THOSE OF US NOT DAYDREAMING.

As a corollary to this, if you've been content following me at my comfortable speed for several miles and I suddenly have to slow down when I encounter a pair of matching wingnuts as described above, don't force me to tailgate the left wingnut by swinging into the right lane and pretending that all of a sudden you're Mario Andretti and you're going to pass me on the right because NOW I'm going too slow for you. You've had the chance to pass me for five miles and you didn't take me up on it. Put your Patient Hat on and wait it out.

Just found this board... rant #2 on the way...
