Maybe I've got it wrong, but that does not sound like a prediction to me.Many scholars disagree with you matzoid. Nonetheless, Isaiah said that Babylon would be destroyed for good. It wasn't until long after Isaiah was dead that Babylon became a desolate ruin. Go visit it today, just a mound of ruins. How could Isaiah have written that after the fact if the fact has remained for milleniums down to this very day?
