This from a mayor who complained to me how he has to do so much with so little tax money.

Glad this is over and we can move on with this project.

Would that it were so, the mayor actually mentioned civil disobedience.

Then of course there are still legal challenges by the tribes ... who never had a treaty.

Lots of third parties doing everything they can to delay that is costing the company lots of money. The hope (for them) is that as with energy east the delays and additional expenses will cause the companies to give up.

Saw an interesting interview recently where one of the chiefs admitted that they were being funded by US refinery companies. He is feeling somewhat remorseful.
