This is kind of what I was afraid was going to happen. We want to help the school but the idea of helping and making the children themselves happy and something special on that day is getting lost.

Might I still suggest............

Find out how many boys, how many girls are in the school. Then make up individual packages for the kids that include the hygiene products, a book and one small gift geared toward that gender. Then with the extra funds or such go for the school stuff.

There is a lot of stuff on the lists, A LOT and it's a pretty big chunk of stuff to get done in less than a month so we need to as Tamarian would say, ask ourselves, WHICH IS MOST IMPORTANT? Which one do we want to focus on first and then when that is done, move on to the next phase.

Does this make sense?
