This is my first post so I will probably put it in the wrong place. Dividends are usually listed in the stock papers. One I have never bought but have watched because I keep waiting for it to dump is Airlease (FLY) It pays HUGE dividends and keeps doing so by liquidating its assets (as I understand) Your question is a darn good one. But it sure seems that a SOURCE of the dividend income should also be in such a listing.I am very close to where I WANT to retire but boy, the money market yields are brutally low.If I can't find this post, I will try to figure out how to get to posts at other times.
