This is not the time to be making any arguments about gun laws out of respect for the lives that were lost.

When is the time? When nobody is paying attention?

People are killed by guns in this country every day. 12,800 homicides last year. (And another 17,000 by accident or suicide.)

Not to put too fine a point on it, but that's over 350 homicides a day, almost 800 gun deaths every single day. So out of respect for them we shouldn't talk about it either?
