This is "onion" with the children's money concern. Thanks for the input so far and I do not mind providing a little more info in the hopes that you can possibly guide me through this situation.

For starters, I am the husband. I am wondering if this board is for women? Hope not, since it seems that you are replying with "help" messages rather than attack.
I live in Hawaii and I will research those sites that are suggested.

I have already met with one attorney and need to meet with more, just to make sure that I feel comfortable with my representation. This one though comes highly recommended and I believe that I should not base my choice primarily on this. I am also looking into mediation, which would be the cheapest but I read that it is still advisable to retain an attorney for advise and future.

I have picked up The Divorce for Dummies book and it seems to be a great start for me with many basics. It is easy to read and even has a section with web site listings.

I do not check this board daily and I appreciate all your time in responding. Thank you.
