This is the grade school in which I was raised. My parents and aunts and uncles helped build it. I was studying high school algebra in the eighth grade there, and aced every math course I took, except a Geometry course in high school that I made a "B" in - The last day of that course, the prof asked everyone in the course if they thought they had done as well, better or worse than they thought they would do at the beginning of the course. That day I sat in the last seat in the class and, when it came time to answer the question, I replied that I thought I would have done better - The class broke out in laughter. The prof commented, "I thought you would have, too, Robert, until you fell in love with Chiapelli" (a high school cheerleader and Carnation Queen - very nice lady, now deceased: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1046496605928&se...

i graduated with honors from the Deans College at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, IL, where I studied directly under PhDs and CPAs, and a retired Aurthur Anderson Tax Partner, who was very demanding and VERY respectable - He was both a CPA and a member of the BAR - Retired long before AA shot themselves in the foot.

Frank "Buster" Wortman's son, Billy, helped me land a job offer from Touche Ross. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Wortman
Billy was a great and sharp guy - He graduated Magna Cum Laude from St Louis University and got hired as Comptroller for one of Touche Ross' clients. We both liked working on cars, quite a bit. *shrug*

Yes, we made moonshine in junior high.
