Those songs are nice to listen to occassionally but what I truly like to hear is disco/dance music...it revs me up and gets me dancing.
- Lucky Dog

I had some Nigerian friends (met them when I was a graduate student in AG Economics) named Chidozee Onwuliri and Chudi Nwangwa and when we'd hang out together we'd eat FuFu and listen to "Congo Music" from Zaire. Talk about something that will make you get up and dance. It's some great stuff. My two favorite African Congo Music artists are Papa Wemba and Remmy Ongala. There are some female Congo artists that are real good. If your ever in a record store (Borders?) where you can listen to some artists check out the World music African artists. Their music is really fun to listen to. - Art
