Anybody around here going to Thunder over Louisville this year?

My son is going to be baptized Saturday at 5:30 mass, so I am out. And that's a bummer, because I just found out that the Blue Angels are going to be there!

I can't imagine a good Catholic church scheduling a baptism for Thunder Saturday, forcing his parents to miss the party ;-)

I didn't go down to the riverfront this year... I've lived here since 1999 and seen the show almost every year. We had a little cookout at a friend's house who live in Paristown, off Highland Ave. It's funny how many people were leaving the riverfront about the time the fireworks were starting to beat the rush. For some reason I thought the Blue Angels are usually in the show every year, or maybe they only show up every few years?

Just curious, which parish do you attend? I started going to St. Anthony's on Market St. in the Portland area about a year ago. I like that's in the city and has some history behind it... hopefully it doesn't become history :)
