I'm new here, so this may have been addressed earlier. I have all my retirement in TIAA-CREF, and now that I've left my current job, I'm considering my options. It's hard to get straight comparisons on performance, but all measures I've seen suggest that I'd be better off rolling over to Vanguard and investing in more aggressive funds than is possible in TIAA-CREF. I'm still 15 years to retirement and feel I need to make up for investment time I've lost in training and low-paing academic jobs.

Any thoughts on this?
