Oh, puhleeze...Contrary to popular belief, the CEREMONY is the purpose of the wedding, not the reception. The reception is not payback for coming to the wedding, nor is it reimbursement for the wedding gift.

If your "gift" is going to be contingent on your opinion of the reception, you'd be better off going to restaurant.
