No one could have more of a train wreck then your long time poster here when it came to credit cards. I had not the semblance of a pot and we are not even discussing the window to eject said liquid substance.

A lot of cards at Chap 7. I say 16 accounts, maybe more. Belly up.


I have learned.

And now the infamous #2, my beloved son, has received the first !! offer for his own card.

I put him on my ONE credit card last year as an authorized user, and I did not block him from pre approved offers.

You may be confident I am on the .." Do not even think about offering!! list."

I am still poor, but that FICO is very close to 700, and I watch it and maintain it like a hawk eyeing lunch.

#2 has a Capital One offer for 0% for one year.

I just got Verizon Internet broadband for my DEBIT card paid computer. Not one dollar in security asked upfront.

I had three cards with CapOne pre Chapter 7, and went belly up on all three. My exploits with Cap One Two and Three were the fodder on many posts upon this board.

Cap One has moved on, and now they are waiting for me to misstep again.

That will never happen.

I put the application in for my son, for he should establish credit. I am happy to report that he hides my ONLY Cap One card to discourage the old days of reckless behavior.

I don't know where he got the sense from, for his father and I were credit scoundrels, but those issues have gone by the wayside.
