How does one time a cyclical industry? More specifically, when is a good time to buy HMC? Sorry for the rookie question-just trying to learn more about the nature of investing in stocks such as HMC.

I've owned three Honda motorcycles, and my wife has owned two Honda cars. Great products, very reliable. We almost bought an Element and took a look at a Ridgeline. I'm hoping that this counts towards the first step in "investing in what you know about."

(question crossposted to foolish questions)

Thanks,

clorox2
