First, I wanted to say how much I appreciate the on-topic post. THANKS!

Dr. Israelsen doesn't seem to have studied available knowledge. Who doesn't know that an all-stock portfolio is particularly risky? Put 30% in cash and fixed income and results are bound to improve.

In fact, I was so sure that everybody knew that you need a little cash/fixed income that I read the two-asset portfolio as stocks/cash instead of large stocks/small stocks.
