TMF2Aruba, you make a good point. I think it best, before taking a really hard line on college students, to consider that many of those students who are receiving credit cards are not allowed to drink. American lawmakers, I think wrongly, have defined two types of adulthood: adults who can drink and adults who can't. The result of this is that some adults are not adults in the full sense and, therefore, seek the priveleges of child and adult status simultaneously. Thus, the Barbie card, or whatever it is. At any rate, I'd like to join the hard-liners, but social reality is what we have made it. Bring back stringent usury laws.
