Legal blogs are anticipating the conviction of George Zimmerman tonight.

Not because the evidence from the trial has documented incontrovertible evidence and provided a clear path for the jury to vote guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

The preparation for a conviction comes with the realization that the state, up to and including the President of the United States (who if Trayvon's dad were half black might be similar in appearance) has so much invested in a guilty outcome that the prosecution and the judge have started to work in tandem to give the jury every hint that a guilty verdict will be good for America.

If the judge allows, at this late date, "aggravated assault" to be a choice for the jury, not only is the fix in, the verdict is in.

The court will have become a joke. They might as well have the jury deliberate on whether Zimmerman should be written up for parking his car near a yellow curb that night.

Then the only thing missing will be Bernie dlR breaking Mark O'Meara's sons arm in a scuffle and falling on a knife.
