To me it's not as much a matter of weight as it is the fact that if someone who is morbidly obese is in the seat next to you, you lose 1/4 of your seat and the "space" you paid for, more or less.I'm not sure what the answer is there. It seems excessive to make them buy two seats, but on the other hand, it really can screw the traveler in coach on a coast-to-coast nonstop who has a 300-pounder next to them.#29
