To OID readers past and present,

I would like to know if you and others that subscribe to OID find it to be a good value for the price of a subscription for what you get. If you have subscribed in the past, but don't anymore, why?
I have been considering a subscription and/or a gift subscription to my local library. I would appreciate any pro and con regarding OID, from current and past subscribers.
Is it true that OID only comes out periodically, as not to have to fill an issue for a "monthly deadline", but to publish only when there are events, contributions, and ideas that warrant a new issue?
I understand Chairman Buffett does subscribe, but is OID, in your opinions, beneficial to the student, the small investor, the billionaire, or all of the above?
I also understand they have an archive available online. Is this archive organized and easy to search?

Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your comments.
