I used quotation marks around Rothify and the last part of the Subject dissapeared. You have to be careful with symbols on these new boards. Is there a list of HTML commands here in the Fool for these boards?

I don't know if this is posted anywhere, but I've been told the only ones you can use are italics and bold. I try to use the convention of putting quoted material in italics because I think that makes it easier to see where the quoted material ends and the new material begins.

For those who aren't familiar with HTML, you have to put a "tag" before and after the material you want to format. For italics put the letter "I" (without quotation marks) between angled brackets "<" and ">" at the start of the italicized material and "/I" between angled brackets at the end. No spaces! For bold use the letter "B" in place of the letter "I". Always be careful to put in the closing tag or the entire message after that point will have special formatting, and if in doubt use the "Preview Reply" feature.

One other trick: if you choose "Edit Reply" when you're previewing, your tags will get stripped out. If you find that you want to edit your reply without losing the tags, use your browser's back button.

I don't find this to be a problem with Netscape.
