Tom,

Nailbiting - ah what fond memories - my mother painting my fingers with some foul tasting stuff (castor oil?), her putting mittens on me, getting my hand slapped, I could go on forever.

I was a nail biter for most of my childhood and as a teenages as well. I stopped biting my nails when I graduated high school (I was speaking and wantd to make a good impression), but since that was sooooooo long ago, I can not remember how I did it! LOL

Seriously though, you need to set up something to remind yourself not to chew (I bet you do bite with out a conscious decision to do so!). Maybe a rubber band around your wrist, or put your watch on the "wrong" arm, or something?

Good luck with this! If we can stop smoking, you can quit biting!

Joyce (the smober one and former nail biter)
