Not as long as the eponymous Mr. Roth draws breath. (It's the name of the Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, not an acronym.)

It is too late to do a 1999 conversion, if that's what you were thinking of, but you can do a conversion in 2000 which will be reflected on your 2000 tax return.
