Trading ac- where do I begin? Started out quite well, especially with shipping ideas in both
tankers and dry bulk sectors. Closed out many of them in Q1 for nice gains. Started building
a new basket of shipping ideas, only tanker companies this time. Closed many of the positions
early Sept. TGP was a 2011 carryover idea- very nice gains. Other ideas mostly small gains or
break-even. OSG, small loss in September.

Tried some mining ideas: Thompson Creek (TC) -bad, Molycorp (MCP) - started out okay, then
headed South, Primero (PPP) -good, but a hold would have worked better,
Taseko (TGB) -good.
Some oddball ideas also did nicely: Sequans (SQNS)-tech, Niska Gas (NKA) - NG storage,

Can I live down the Christopher & Banks (CBK) screw-up? Taking the loss hurt, but the passed-on
opportunity when I suggested to myself to go for it stings

$1.20/sh on July 1st, over $5/sh today. Probably one of the best 6-month bounces for
any stock on a major US Index this year. Bah!


Not sure how the account will behave on 12/31, but per yesterday (12/27), it was up about
16.5% with a high-water mark around 25%. Account with Interactive Brokers, their trading
costs might have a small impact on my trading behavior and gains/losses.
