Trying to decide to buy now or not, I wait until I really, really, truly believe that the stock's going to be worth a heckuva lot more five or ten years hence. Then I buy, regardless of price.

Mostly, this has worked well for me so far, though another week waiting for Amazon would've bought me almost twice as many shares. But the way I look at it, in ten years, I won't care. It'll be just another chuckle.
