TWinnYes, I have rented cars before and I have treated them as if they were my own cars. I was raised by my parents to respect other peoples property. But society is going downhill. It is a ME society. They don't care about other people and their propery. My cars are evidence to show this by the number of dings on the doors. There was once a time when others were careful not to hit the parked car next to them when they opened their doors and if they did, they left their name and number to pay for the damage. Not too long ago, someone actually opened their door and hit my car while I was in it, then just looked at me and walked away.So I guess that rental cars may not be the bargain they once were. Not because of the number of drivers but the selfish mentality of a few of them.
