I read several of the postings before adding my 2 cents. I hope someone from UAL reads them because the main theme is:Your employees are rude and treat customers like crap.I flew UAL 3 years ago and won't go back. I've driven 500 miles to cities they fly to when no other airline was available. You have no customer loyalty and many of your employees are trying their best to chase off the few remaining ones. (Disgruntled employees are not hard to find. Everyone knows who they are).It's pretty simple, perhaps it's too simple. Get rid of the employees who hate their job, or don't do their job well. They are killing business. Put together a core group of HR people to hire energetic, HAPPY, well adjusted people, train them to deal with hateful, tired, nasty CUSTOMERS, and make your customers happy.Work on regaining customer loyalty. Let the beancounters figure out how many planes to sell, or how much cargo to carry, but you have to make customer contacts pleasant, and make them WANT to come back.Or you can file for bankruptcy and screw it up again.
