In an interview with Rock Paper Shotgun, a couple Ubisoft officers responded to questions with quite a bit of evasion/tap-dancing where they announce that their "always-online" DRM is a thing of the past (haven't used it in new games for a year), as are activation limits/machine limits, but stop very very short of actually admitting it was a mistake. The RPS guy was heroic in his attempt to draw attention to the fact that no publishers have ever released any of their data that they keep quoting/referencing in defense of their various flavors of DRM, trying to get Ubisoft to at least say something about it, but he didn't get very far.http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/09/05/ubisoft-drm-pirac...JT
