Um, $200,000 isn't enough. I'm near your age, with a similar nest egg, and I simply can't afford to pack it in. The property taxes, the car insurance, the health insurance, just eat it all up.

I do not read the "Retire Early Home Page" board, but you ought to. My cyber-friend JAFO31 recommends this often, so it has to be worthwhile. That would be a free start. For more, you will have to go to a planner and spend a couple of hundred dollars for advice. If the advice includes variable annuities with insurance provisions, walk.
