Sorry, should've phrased it differently. I'm not really skeptical about the takeover prospects, I'm just weary of waiting for news. I understand that the company is keeping appropriately tight-lipped about any offers--and so the news we're waiting for is still keeping us waiting. I just meant to reassure that the drop in price seems to me to be an outgrowth of how oil stocks are being valued at the moment, not problems about any potential takeover efforts. I don't see the fundamentals as having changed significantly all things considered. Wish I had read your article, though. I'll try to find it.
