Unfortunately, your story rings too true of a gay BS artist trying to make us all feel that if a guy like us can accept it, we should all learn to accept it. In other words, your attitudes and words reveal your true feeling that you had prior to and throughout any peiord of falsely purported "epiphanies".
The majority of cases against gay marriage that I've run into have been of this vein - apparently a fear of secret gay armies, running about, recruiting young boys and girls in the streets (and committing other "moral" crimes, of course). Why can't two people, who just want to live their lives and be happy do just that and additionally secure the rights that you (a *supposed* heterosexual or severely repressed homosexual) and I can already exercise?
Additionally, before posting such arguments about what's "normal and natural" and what "God designed", please substitute "black" for "homosexual" and draw parallels between your arguments and the arguments made years ago against integration. In other words, think about the deeper implications of norms versus equality. The fight for the latter has historically had to fight the former.
Finally, realize your god does not exist to me, a right secured by our constitution - you are therefore unable to use her or him against me in arguments regarding the laws of this country. Damn those activist judges, they strike again! Amen. (heavy sarcasm).
