Unforunately, this is our situation: my boyfriend is renting a room from someone and I am staying with him (though I'm not really supposed to be there!). We are both in a hurry to get out of there and into an actual house, as this is a rather bad situation that we're presently in.

Thus our rush to find a place and thus our stress and desparation.

Would it be adviseable just to take "the next thing that pops up"? Just bite the bullet and buy something we are not particularly drawn to? Something farther away from our jobs that we like and hope our cars don't break down any time soon?

It's so hard to know what to do!
