Unplugging it for a few minutes might clear the memory.

I have a couple of questions though:

Are they really going to know who sent the fax (the machine only records the destination, not the message)?

Are they really that anal about using office equipment that they would object to you sending a fax - which uses nothing more than a little electriciy and a minute of time on the phone line? Perhaps they wouldn't object as long as it doesn't interfere with your job?
