Desktop publishing didn't appear until the '80s (invention of Postscript) and the first prototypes of everything else listed above in any significant way only in the late '70s. Remember a microcomputer? They did not exist in the '60s. Sure, there was some software floating around the mainframe world but the mainstream world didn't know anything about it, nor did it care.The microcomputers changed the ball game as they brought all of that into the mainstream.Vlad
