I'm curious as to the Board's perspective on the impact of US ownership on foreign car makers, particularly Volvo and Saab. Have the Ford and GM stakes in these companies helped or hindered? What about the vaunted product reliability? Are common parts bins vanillaizing the lines, eg. the new 9-3 being built on a Malibu platform (if I've got that right)?

All comments welcome. TIA.
