How would you find out how much savings bonds are worth? I have 2 E-series US Savings Bonds for $25 each from May and June of 1973. Can anyone help me with this??

Thank you.

Greetings,

The Savings Bond general site is:

http://www.savingsbonds.gov/

You can download their software that tracks your bond info at: http://www.publicdebt.treas.gov/sav/savwizar.htm

There's also a link that gives you info that may prove helpful: http://www.publicdebt.treas.gov/sav/savprice.htm

Hope these help.

Frehley

Go to the Bureau of Public Debt's Savings Bonds page at http://www.publicdebt.treas.gov/sav/sav.htm Click on the section titled "What are your bonds worth?"

I found the info, I was looking for. Thanks for the help. Boy, I guess Savings bonds aren't good long-term investments after seeing how little that $50 has turned in to. I plan on cashing them in and putting the money towards my DRiPs.
