Some interesting news from British Columbia, Canada.

As the last of 16 public forums on B.C.'s health-care system wrapped up, the health minister promised the province doesn't want a U.S.-style private system — but critics remained skeptical.

Health Minister George Abbott told the forum in Vancouver on Saturday that he believes in universal public care and won't push the province toward privatization.


I guess the waiting lists aren't as long as telegraph and SeattlePioneer think they are. <LOL>
