Well, since I'm on a posting roll, let me give you the dirt on an offer from USAA to lower my rate on the car loan(CRV, 5.75% from Peoplefirst).

USAA has offered me a Platinum card that will give me 4.99% for the life of the balance on balance xfers. So I'm considering moving the CRV loan onto it.

My initial thought is "Why not? It drops the rate slightly, and pays off (at least some of) the car loan."

My deep thought is that I've been borrowing from one card to pay another for quite a while now, and the FICO score may either prompt USAA to approve me for a low credit limit or outright deny me.

Ahhh...whatever. It's not like I'm planning to borrow any money anytime soon.

Question: Should I wait for better 'xfer for the life of the balance offers?" I'm only gaining 3/4 of a point now. And I have other credit cards with zero balances that if I waited could offer me something even better. Hmmm...
