Purchased our 1st home in 1999; used $10K from an IRA acct for down payment. Just received a 1099-R from the mutual fund company. Will the entire $10K be taxed? I see that TurboTax has added the $10K to my adjusted gross and just wanted to make sure this was correct. It jacked up the amount I owe to Uncle Sam by several thousand!!
