On Tuesday, November 13th, the 70th anniversary of the sinking of the U.S.S. Juneau, we rededicated the new U.S.S. Juneau Memorial on the waterfront of Juneau. It snowed fairly heavily, but there was a small crowd of hardy souls there, including me, to see that it was done properly.

Those of you that have been around for a while have read my stories about having adopted the memorial for my own personal memorial day tradition, and about being horrified to discover it missing last year.

I'm glad to see the memorial replaced, and glad that I could be there, again, to see it happen.
