This is kind of a stupid thing to feel good about. It's a little like feeling flattered that the most popular girl in school sat at the same table with you when there were no other seats... but hey, what can I say?

Darrin and I were visiting an insurance agent because we needed to switch our auto insurance. The whole switching thing is a very long story involving a collectable car that was given to us as a gift. Turns out the insurance companies that handle collectable cars won't insure it if you only have one regular car between you. Have these people never heard of public transportation??? Anyway... on with the story...

The agent had given us a quote assuming we would have a credit rating setting us about average (3 on a 1 to 6 scale, where 1 is perfect and 6 is horrid). Well, when he finally got the real price (after we brought in the apprasal of the Bricklin)... our credit rating came up as a 1. I'm sure his line about never having seen a 1 before was a load of bull... but it made me feel so good. Darrin and I have worked so hard to get our money in order. Knowing this is being noticed by the popular kids... well, it gives me warm fuzzy feeling inside (and a heavier feeling in the pocket book as our rate was lower).
