I would like to fund a Roth IRA on a monthly schedule throughout the year.

As far as I can understand Sharebuilder allows you to open an IRA with no fees and invest in a S&P500 matching Spider for $2 per trade if you invest monthly.
Must be one of the least expensive ways to do this I think.

Is it possible to invest monthly through Vangaurd? What are the fees for this?

Sharebuilder cost $24 for the year plus the 0.1845% cost of running the Spider.

I can't figure out what the cost is to invest in a Vangaurd S&P 500 index fund would be. Is it just a $10 annual fee.

The rate of return should be the same as the S&P500 just the fees will be diferent between the 2 companies?

Please help if you can.

Thanks Gary ....Total fool
