Vanguard, Fidelity, TIAA-CREF, TROWE-PRICE and USAA are some good companies with low fees...I don't think anyone compares with Vanguard on fees though.

Here's a sample portfolio for you...

http://www.fundadvice.com/portfolio.html#vanguard%20equity

It offers a number of recommendations and sample portfolios...I would recommend the vanguard equity portfolio as it sounds like you have a lot of time so being aggressive would be good and I don't see a need for any bond funds at this time. This will change over time.

You'll see a number of portfolios here, some for market timing and others for buy and hold. I highly recommend ignoring any of the market timing portfolios. I don't believe many have been successful with it and the buy and hold strategy seems best here.

Keep in mind that each of these investments have minimums. Since you're rolling over into an IRA the minimum will be $1000 each fund. Vanguard also charges $10 a year for under $5000 per fund I think but their expense ratios are so low that you shouldn't worry about that.

You'll see about 8 funds there...start off with 5 ($1000 each) and then as you save more open the others. Here's the website that may help a bit...

It assumes you're investing in a non-IRA so it talks of minimums of around $3000 but being that you're moving to an IRA, $1000 is the minimum.

Good Luck!
